ด้วยสภาวิศวกรมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทำความเข้าใจต่อผู้ขอรับใบอนุญาตฯ ที่สำเร็จการศึกษาในหลักสูตรระดับปริญญาหรือเทียบเท่าปริญญาสาขาวิศวกรรมสิ่งแวดล้อม หรือสาขาวิศวกรรมสุขาภิบาล ซึ่งสภาวิศวกรได้รับรองปริญญาไว้ในสาขาวิศวกรรมโยธา และได้รับใบอนุญาตสาขาวิศวกรรมโยธา อยู่ก่อนวันที่ข้อบังคับนี้มีผลใช้บังคับ (วันที่ 5 กุมภาพันธ์ 2564) มีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับหลักเกณฑ์ วิธีการ และการจัดเตรียมเอกสารประกอบ
สภาวิศวกรจึงได้จัดการสัมมนา เรื่อง แนะนำการยื่นขอรับใบอนุญาตประกอบวิชาชีพวิศวกรรมควบคุม สาขาวิศวกรรมสิ่งแวดล้อม (กรณีมีคุณสมบัติตามข้อ 8 ของข้อบังคับสภาวิศวกรว่าด้วยการออกใบอนุญาตให้แก่ผู้ขอประกอบวิชาชีพวิศวกรรมควบคุมสาขาวิศวกรรมสิ่งแวดล้อม พ.ศ.2564) ในวันอังคารที่ 21 ธันวาคม 2564 เวลา 13.00 – 16.00 นาฬิกา ผ่านสื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (Cisco Webex)
