The Council of Engineers of Thailand strengthened its international engagement as Mr. Kittipong Weerapoprasit and Secretary-General Associate Professor Dr. Sutha Khaodhiar participated in the 2025 International Conference on Industry–University–Research–Application Cooperation, hosted by Tianjin University in Tianjin, People’s Republic of China, during 22–23 September 2025.
The conference, held under the theme “Artificial Intelligence Empowering Global Education Governance,” focused on sharing knowledge and experiences in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to advance education and drive innovation in engineering. The event gathered distinguished academics and representatives from various countries, including China, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Colombia, and Kazakhstan.
During the conference, President Kittipong delivered a keynote presentation on “Digital Intelligence Empowering Innovation in Engineering Education,” presenting strategies to enhance Thai engineering education in line with international standards. In addition, Associate Professor Dr. Sutha Khaodhiar contributed as a panelist in the session on “Engineering Education Governance: New Missions and Actions,” addressing new missions and approaches to engineering education governance in the digital era to ensure quality, transparency, and adaptability to technological change.
The Council’s participation in this global platform not only highlights its leadership role in the international engineering community but also reaffirms its commitment to raising the quality of engineering education and advancing the Thai engineering profession in accordance with global standards in the digital age.
