The Council of Engineers Thailand (COET) is proud to announce that Assoc. Prof. Dr. Quanchai Leepowpanth, Chair of the Monitoring Committee for APEC and ASEAN Engineers, was invited by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) to serve as a distinguished speaker and panelist at the BEM National Engineering Convention 2025 (NEC 2025), held from 19–22 August 2025 at the Connexion Conference & Event Centre (Nexus), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Held under the theme “Engineering Malaysia Integrating ASEAN”, the convention gathered engineering leaders and experts from across ASEAN, Africa, and the Middle East to foster collaboration, professional mobility, and sustainable innovation in the engineering profession.
Key Highlights
- On 19 August 2025, Dr. Quanchai contributed as a Speaker & Forum Panelist in the “Forum on Business Opportunities & Challenges”, joining representatives from Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Malaysia to share insights on global engineering business trends and challenges.
- On 20 August 2025, he served as a Forum Panelist in the “Forum on ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineers (ACPE): Integrating ASEAN Through Enhanced Professional Mobility”, exploring strategies to strengthen regional cooperation and expand opportunities for ASEAN engineers.
